Learning to Sit Up

Today was the first day of summer vacation. We spent a lot of the day hanging out at Jesse Davidson Park. We had a picnic, played at the playground, and then spent the afternoon at the splash pad there. The weather was beautiful - not too humid today - and it was a lot of fun. The park is named after Jesse Davidson who's father started Jesse's Journey to raise money for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I went to high school with Jesse Davidson, and remember when Jesse's Journey first began. I'm sure we'll be spending lots of time there this summer as it's a fun park and really close to our house. Jesse calls it "the other Jesse's park" :)

Nathan is starting to learn how to sit up. He's still quite wobbly, but I managed to snap this picture before he toppled backwards onto the pillow.

  1. Wow, I can't believe how much holder Nathan looks here, maybe it's the fact that he's sitting up. He is so adorable, I can't wait to see you guys soon!!

  2. Nathan, you are such a cutie. I just want to grab you, hug you so tight and kiss you. You are getting big, in 12 days you will be six months. I love you.
