This is probably my absolute favourite age for a baby to be. I just love love LOVE this stage of life. Still little enough to cuddle and rock but old enough to interact and make cute talking noises and laugh and smile and roll around. Love it!
If I had a wish today it would be for time to stand still right now so I could just sit for hours holding and cuddling and kissing this precious baby. I just can't get enough of her!
You'd think that with number five, I'd be past the googly-eyed mama stuff, but no.
Sometimes I make such a fool of myself gushing over Clara's cuteness that the older kids stare at me like I've lost my mind.
Like when my voice jumps up 3 octaves too high and I start calling her the most ridiculous names and kissing her cheeks over and over.
Yeah, it's pretty bad.
But tell me, what would you do if you were face to face with this precious bundle of cuteness all day?
I can't believe she's already 6 months old! I love her smile, it's so contagious. And I can't believe how long her hair is. I miss you guys!! You should put up a video of the baby talk so I can see how bad it is. I have to majorly edit any videos I put up, but there is always a little bit that still gets in...so embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteClara is so adorable! Does she have a dimple?! Her hair and eyes are so dark - she doesn't really look like any of the other kids. I can't believe she's already 6 months old and I've never even seen her.
ReplyDeleteWow, Clara is getting big. I love her smile and eyes. When the older kids think you are a bit too baby crazy, remind them you did that to them and look how wonderful they are.
ReplyDeletegoggle,kiss & cuddle as much as you can....we all do when we hold her! It reminds me of when Emma was born and grandma was holding her making faces,Mark was standing there making fun of his mom "mom, you look so funny, your face all screwed up like that" then it was his turn...he pulled the same face...-we all laughed xoxo enjoy every moment!
